The origins of sound
For thousands of years, civilizations have recognized the healing power of sound.
40,000 years ago, Australian Aborigines were already using this energy for healing.
In ancient Egypt, the pyramids were not only burial sites, but they also contained acoustic chambers intended to serve as sound healing sites for the privileged Egyptians of the time.
Gongs, which have been around for over 4,000 years, are another example of the use of sound for healing.
Pythagoras, on the other hand, believed that music could heal and that certain sounds could immerse the soul in a state of harmony, thus purifying the mind and helping the body stay healthy.
