The origins of sound

  • For thousands of years, civilizations have recognized the healing power of sound.

  • 40,000 years ago, Australian Aborigines were already using this energy for healing.

  • In ancient Egypt, the pyramids were not only burial sites, but they also contained acoustic chambers intended to serve as sound healing sites for the privileged Egyptians of the time.

  • Gongs, which have been around for over 4,000 years, are another example of the use of sound for healing.

  • Pythagoras, on the other hand, believed that music could heal and that certain sounds could immerse the soul in a state of harmony, thus purifying the mind and helping the body stay healthy.
